Menopause Tests
The Menopause Health Assessment package provides valuable insights into a woman's transition into menopause by evaluating key hormonal and metabolic markers. This comprehensive screening includes a transvaginal ultrasound for imaging the uterus and ovaries, an OGTT Non-Pregnant (75 gms) to assess glucose metabolism and identify potential insulin resistance, a lipid profile to monitor cardiovascular health, and a 12 Lead ECG to check heart rhythm.
Additionally, the package includes a chest PA X-ray for lung and heart health, a mammography (available by appointment at select HP branches) to screen for breast cancer, Glycosylated Hb (HbA1C) to assess long-term blood sugar control, and liver function tests (SGOT and SGPT). Kidney health is also evaluated through BUN and creatinine levels.
This package is recommended for women aged 45 to 55, particularly when menopause symptoms arise, to assess hormone levels and related health changes.
